Solution:-

x+1/x = 6 _________(1) (Given)

°•° (x- 1/x)² = (x + 1/x)² -4 *x*/x

=> (6)² - 4

=> 36 - 4 = 32

here , (x - 1/x)² = 32

•°• (x - 1/x) = √32 = 4√2 Answer ✔
