Given ,

The 10th term of an AP is double of the 2nd term and first term is 7

Let , Common difference be d

According to the question ,

7 + 9d = 2(7 + d)

7 + 9d = 14 + 2d

7d = 7

d = 7/7

d = 1

Hence , the common difference is 1

Now , we have to find the 8th term of an AP

Thus ,

8th term = 7 + (8 - 1)1

8th term = 7 + 7

8th term = 14

Hence , the 8th term of an AP is 14

Answer:

Given , a =7

A/c to given conditions,

a_{10}=2a_2

=>(a+9d)=2(a+d)\\\\=>7+9d=2(7+d)\\\\=>9d+7=14+2d\\\\=>7d=7\\\\=>d=1

a_{8}=a+7d=7+7(1)=14
