then

x =  \frac{a + 26d}{a + 14d}  \\ where \: x \: is \: the \: ratio

x \:  =  \frac{(a + 9d) + 17d}{(a + 9d) + 5d}  \\ x =  \frac{17d}{5d}  \\ x =  \frac{17}{5}
