Given,

Fifth term of an AP=0……….(i) Let first term of the AP be a

Let Common Difference of the AP be d

We know that,

General Term of an AP is -----

Tn=a+((n-1)*d)

5th term of the AP is -----

Tn=a+((n-1)*d)

 T5= a+(5-1)d

 0 = a+4d

 a = -4d

26th Term of the AP is ----

Tn = a+(n-1)d

 T26 = a+(26-1)d

 T26 = a+ 25d

12th Term of the AP-----

Tn = a+(n-1)d

 T26 = a+(12-1)d

 T26 = a+ 11d

Therefore, no of times of 12th term which equals 26th term is --------

T26/T12 = (a+25d)/(a+11d)

= (-4d+25d)/(-4d+11d)

=21d/7d

= 3

If the 5th term of an AP is zero, then 26th term is 3 times the 12th term.
