Answer:

Any Nth term of AP can be written as

Tn=a+(n-1)d

Here ,a= first term

n = no of term

d= common difference

Given,

T5=27

T8=12

27=a+(5–1)d

27=a+4d. Eq(1)

12=a+(8–1)d

12=a+7d. Eq(2)

Subtracting (1) and (2)

15=-3d

d=-5

Putting d=-5 in any one equation

a=47

So ,we get AP as

47,42,37,32,47……

Answer: d = 4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

nth term of a A.P. is given by first term (a) +  n-1 multiplied by the common difference d.

a₅ = a + (5-1)d

12 = a  + 4d                         [equation 1]

a₈ = a + (8-1)d

16 = a + 7d                            [equation 2]

subtracting equation 1 from equation 2 we get

3d = 4

d = 4/3
