Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

nth term of AP  = a + (n-1)d

So 6th Term = a + 5d = 1/6  -----> (1)

     10th term  = a + 9d = 1/10 -------> 2

Subtract (2) from (1)

a + 5d = 1/6

a + 9d = 1/10

-   -        -

--------------------

- 4d = 1/6 - 1/10 =  5 - 3 / 30 = 2/30 = 1/15

=> d = - 1/60

Substitute value of d in (1),

a + 5d = 1/6

=> a = 1/6 - 5d = 1/6 - 5/60 = 1/6 - 1/12 = 1/12.

So 16th term = a + 15d = 1/12 + 5(-1/60) = 1/12 - 1/12 = 0.
