SOLUTION

GIVEN

  • The adjacent sides of parallelogram are in the ratio 3 : 7

  • The perimeter is 250 m.

TO DETERMINE

The sides

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the adjacent sides of parallelogram are in the ratio 3 : 7

Let the adjacent sides of parallelogram are 3x cm and 7x cm

Now it is given that the perimeter is 250 m

So by the given condition

 \sf{2(3x + 7x) = 250}

 \sf{ \implies \: 2 \times 10x = 250}

 \sf{ \implies \: 20x = 250}

 \sf{ \implies \: x = 12.5}

Hence the required adjacent sides of parallelogram are 37.5 cm and 87.5 cm
