To prove:- Triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle.

Proof:- In triangle BAD. and triangle CAD.

angle BAD. = angle. CAD. . (given )

side. BD. = side CD. (given)

AD. is common.

∆ BAD. is congruence. ∆ CAD

Therefore side AB. = side. AC. or. ∆ ABC is an isosceles triangle.
