SIDE OF AN EQUILATERAL ∆ = 2(altitude)/√3
side = 2(12√3)/√3
side = 24cm

PERIMETER = 4(side)
perimeter = 4(24) = 96cm

AREA = ½(base)(height)
area = ½(24)(12√3)
area = 144√3cm²
OR
area = 144(1.73)
area = 249.12cm²
