Suppose, ABC is a triangle.
Let, AE is the altitude from vertice A . Such that AE perpendicular to BC
Similarly, BD is another vertex From B such that BD perpendicular to AC
A.T.Q AE=BD
Now,ar of triangle ABC = ar of triangle BAC
1/2 X BC X AE= 1/2 X AC X BD
BC=AC
Hence , triangle ABC is isoceles triangle
