if the altitudes from two vertices of a triangle to the opposite sides are equal , prove that the triangle is isosceles .​

an altitude comes at 90° so it divides the side into two halves which are equal so if the altitudes are equal then there halves are also equal that means the two sides are equal this an isosceles triangle

In △ABE and △ACF

∠AEB=∠AFC (90⁰ each)

∠BAE=∠CAF (common angle)

∠ABE=∠ACF using angle sum property

BE=CF

⇒ △ABE≅△ACF

⇒ AB=AC

∴ △ABC is an isosceles tangent as two sides are equal to each other
