Pq = height of the tower

Pr = 20m

Angle of elevation = 60degree

Solution:

Let x be the height

tan60 = PQ/PR

=> root3 = x/20

By cross multiplying...

=> 20root3 = x

☆therefore, the height of the tower is 20root3 metres
