Answer:

Hey mate! Here is your proof.

Explanation:

We know that the two glass slabs are parallel to each other.

Let us consider the refractive index of the glass slab to be μ.

Now,

We are going to follow the Snell's law of Refraction.

So if we apply, we get;

Sin i / Sin r_{1} = μ. ----------- 1

But we also know that r_{1} =r_{2}

So we get,

Sin r_{2} / Sin e = μ. --------------- 4

When we multiply  1 and 4, we get,

Sin i / Sin e = 1

Then sin and sin gets cut and we are left with i / e = 1

Therefore,

i = e

Hence proved.

Hope helps....

Explanation:

according to the second law of reflection. angle of incidence=angle of reflection.

thus, the angle of emergence of a light ray falling on glass slab is the angle of reflection.

thus , i=e
