Answer:

Angles of the quadrilateral are 30°, 80°, 90° and 160°

Given:

  • Angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio 3 : 8 : 9 : 16

To Find:

  • The angles of the quadrilateral.

Solution:

Let the angles of the quadrilateral be 3x, 8x, 9x and 16x.

Angles of a quadrilateral add up to 360°

⟹ 3x + 8x + 9x + 16 = 360°

⟹ ( 3 + 8 + 9 + 16 ) x = 360°

⟹ 36x = 360°

⟹ x = 360°/36

⟹ x = 10°

Angles of the quadrilateral are:

3x = 3(10°) = 30°

8x = 8(10°) = 80°

9x = 9(10°) = 90°

16x = 16(10°) = 160°

Question ::-

If the angle of quadrilateral PQRS are in the ratio 3:8:9:16. then Find the angles ?

Given ::-

  • Ratio of angles of Quadrilateral = 3:8:9:16

To find ::-

  • Angles of Triangles ?

Solution ::-

Let the common factor be x

We know , angles of Quadrilateral = 360°

__________

➠ 3x + 8x + 9x + 16x = 360°

➠ 36x = 360°

➠ x =  \dfrac{360}{36}

➠ x = 10

__________

Angles are ::-

  • 3x = 3×10 = 30

  • 8x = 8×10 = 80

  • 9x = 9×10 = 90

  • 16x = 16×10 = 160
