KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Sum of the 3 interior angle of ∆ = 180°

DECLARATION

Given,

ratio of angles -- 4:4:2

Let this ratio be 4x:4x:2x ( x is the variable constant)

WORKING

Sum of angle = 10 x

Total sum of angle = 180°

According to question,

10x =180°

==> x=18° √√

SOLUTION

1st angle ==> 4x = 4×18 = 72° √√

2nd angle ==> 4x = 4×18 = 72° √√

3rd angle ==> 2x = 2×18 = 36° √√

CONCLUSION

The ∆ is an isoceles ∆ since two angles in order are equal.
