Greetings..!!

Supplementary angles : Supplementary angles  are two angles the sum of which is always 180°. For example 170° and 10°.

So,these two angles should be equal to 180°.

⇒(13x+30)° + (5x+6)° = 180°

⇒18x + 36 = 180

⇒18x = 180 - 36 {transposing 36 to R.H.S}

⇒x = 144/18

⇒x=8°

So,first angle = (13x + 30)° = (104+30)° = 134°

Second angle = (180-134)°=46°

13x+30+5x+6=180...... (sum of supplimentary angles is 180)
18x+36=180
18x=180-36
18x=144
x=144/18
x=8

13x+30=13*8+30=134
5x+6=5*8+6=46
