Given :-

Two complementary angles are ( 2a - 10°) and ( a - 11° )

To Find :-

The value of a = ?

Solution :-

As we know , That the sum of complementary angles is 90°

Therefore,

( 2a - 10° ) + ( a - 11° ) = 90°

2a - 10° + a - 11° = 90°

3a - 21° = 90°

3a = 90° + 21°

3a = 111°

a = 111/3

a = 112/ 3

a = 37°

Hence, the value of a is 37°

Therefore,

Two complementary angles are

( 2a - 10°)

= 2 * 37° - 10°

= 74° - 10°

= 64°

( a - 11° )

=37° - 11°

=26° .

Verification :-

• 64° + 26° = 90°
