if the angles are complementary then sum of those angles is 90°.

therefore,2x-10+x-5=90

3x-15=90

3x=90+15

3x=105

x=105/3=35

Complementary Angles:-

Two Angles are Complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle). They don't have to be next to each other, just so long as the total is 90 degrees.

                                                                       

Then the sum of  (2x - 10)° and (x - 5)º will be 90°.

2x - 10 + x - 5 = 90

3x-15 = 90

3x=105
