\textbf {\underline {\underline {Answer}}} : The triangle formed will be Acute triangle.

\huge\underline\green {\tt Solution:}

Given,

Ratio of three sides of the triangle = 2:3:4

Let common factor be x

As we know, the sum of all three angles of triangle is 180°

So,

2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

➡ 9x = 180°

➡ x = \dfrac {180°}{9}

➡ x = 20°

Put the Vale of x in each angle.

• 2x = 2 × 20 = 40°

• 3x = 3 × 20 = 60°

• 4x = 4 × 20 = 80°

Here, each angle is less than 90°.

<b> A triangle in which all the three angles are less than 90°, that triangle is usually termed as ' Acute triangle ' .

Hence,

If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:4 , then the triangle formed will be Acute triangle.
