Hi ,

Let the raidus of the circle = r cm

Area = 301.84 cm²

π r² = 301.84

( 22/7 ) r² = 30184/100

r² = ( 30184 × 7 )/( 100 × 22 )

= ( 11 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 7 × 7 × 7 × 7 )/(10×10× 2 × 11 )

r² = ( 2 × 2 × 7 × 7 × 7 × 7 ) / ( 10 × 10 )

r = 2 × 7 × 7

r = 98 cm

I hope this helps you.

Given:

  • if the are of circle is 301.84cm²

To Find:

  • find the radius of the circle

Solution:

We know,

Area of a circle = πr²

Substituting values we get,

→ 301.84 = 22/7 × r²

→ r² = 301.84×7/22

→ r² = 96.04

→ r = 9.8cm

Hence:

  • The radius of the circle is 9.8 cm
