If the area and breadth of a rectangle are 31.25 cm2 and 2.5 cm respectively, find the length of the rectangle in metre​

area \: of \: a \: rectangle = length \times breadth

31.25 = length \times 2.5

length =  \frac{31.25}{2.5}

length = 12.5 \: cm

Area ofthe rectangle= 31.25 cm^2
Breadth of the rectangle = 2.5 cm

Length ofthe rectangle = Area/Breadth
= 31.25/2.5
= Hence the length ofthe rectangle is 12.5 cm.
