→πr²=616cm²

→22/7×r²=616cm²

→r²=616/1×7/22

→r²=28×7

→r²=196cm

→r=√196

→r=14cm

verification:-

area of circle=πr²

=22/7×14×14

=22×2×14

=616cm²

hence verified.

thus the radius of the circle is 14cm.

circumference of the circle=2πr

=2×22/7×14

=44×2

=88cm

circumference of the circle is 88cm.
