Let the height be h
Base = 9cm
Area of parallelogram = 144cm

Now , Area of parallelogram = Base * Height
144 = 9 * h
h = 144/9
h= 16 cm

Given :

  • Area of parallelogram = 144cm²
  • Base of parallelogram = 9cm

To Find :

  • Height of Parallelogram

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Height=?}

Using Formula :

\boxed{Area\:of\:Parallelogram=base\times{height}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{144=9\times{h}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{144}{9}=h}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{h=16}

So, The height of the parallelogram is 16cm.

VERIFICATION :

\longmapsto\tt{108=base\times{height}}

\longmapsto\tt{108=9\times{16}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{108=108}
