Given: The area of a rectangle is 240cm^2 and the length is 16cm.

To find: The length of the adjacent side/breadth.

Answer:

Formula to find area of a rectangle = Length*Breadth.

Substituting the given values in the above formula,

240cm^2 = 16*Breadth

Breadth = 240/16

Breadth = 15cm

Hope it helps :)
