x+4 = 2y.

Subtract eq (2) from (1) , y = 8 .

put y=8 in eq.(1) . x-8=4 => x=12 units

length (l) =2x+y+8=24+8+8=40 units.

bredth (b)=2×8= 16 units.

Perimeter = 2×(l+b)=2×(40+16) =112
