Given that

Area of rectangular field is 320m^{2}

Width is 16m

To find

Length of field

Solution

As we know that area of rectangle is product of its length and width

hence

Area\:of\:rectangle=l\times b

where

l is length of field

b is width of field

Area\;of\;rectangle=l\times b

320=l\times16\\

Shift 16 to Left side it becomes divide to 320 hence it is

l\;=\frac{360}{16}

By dividing 360 by 16 we get

l=22.5m

Hence length of field is 22.5m.

Answer: The length of field is 22.5m.

Step-by-step explanation: Given that

Area of rectangular field is 320

Width is 16m

To find

Length of field

Solution

As we kn

ow that area of rectangle is product of its length and width

hence

area of rectangle = l × b

where

l is length of field

b is width of field

area of rectangle = l × b

320 ×  l × 16

Shift 16 to Left side it becomes divide to 320 hence it is

l = 320/16

By dividing 360 by 16 we get

l = 22.5m

Hence length of field is 22.5m.
