If the area of a rhombus be 24 cm' and one of its diagonals be 4 cm. Find the perimeter of the
rhombus.

Answer:

Area of rhombus = 1/2 * D1 * D2

24cm² = 1/2 * 4 * D2

D2 = 24*2/4 = 12 cm

now, we know that diagonals of rhombus cuts at 90° and bisect each other ,

therefore side of rhombus , (Let a)

a = (6)²+(2)² = 210cm

perimeter of rhombus (since all sides are equal) = 4a = 4*(210) = 810 cm (Ans)
