If the area of a rhombus is 48 cm square and one of its diagonal is 12cm find the side of the rhombus

area of rhombus=1/2 × d₁ × d₂; where d₁ and d₂ are diagonals.
48=1/2*12*ac
8=ac

since the diagonal bisect each other
AO=4,BO=6cm
(AB)²=(AO)²+(BO)²
= 16+64
= 80
AB=√80=4√5
