If the area of a square is increased 4 times, the perimeter also increases 4 times.

For example, area of a square with side 5cm = 5cm × 5cm = 25cm²

When the area is increased 4 times it will be 100cm² and the side will be 10cm.

Thus, perimeter will be 10cm × 4 = 40cm.
