Area of trapezium=1/2 ×Sum of parallel sides×Altitude

28m² = 1/2×(8+6) ×altitude

28² = 1/2× 14× altitude (1m= 10 dm)
28²= 7 × altitude
altitude= 28/ 7 = 4 m .

Area of the trapezium = 28 m^2 .
Parallel sides = 8 m and 60 dm.
10 dm = 1 m
60 dm = 6 m

Area of the trapezium = 1/2× sum of parallel sides × Altitude
28 = 1/2 ×(8+6) × Altitude
28= 1/2 × 14 × Altitude
28= 7× Altitude
28/7 = Altitude
4 = Altitude

The required value of altitude is 4 m .
