The length of the scarf is  10 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Required Formula:

  • Area of triangle = ½ * base * height

The area of the triangular scarf = 150 sq cm

The width of the triangular scarf i.e., it's base, b = 30 cm

Let the length or the height of the scarf be denoted as “h” cm.

Now, substituting the given values in the above formula, we get

 150 = ½ * 30 * h

⇒ 150 = 15 * h

⇒ h = 150/15

h = 10 cm  ← the length of the triangular scarf
