Answer:

We have an isosceles triangle whose area is 8 cm^2.

In a isosceles triangle base and height are equal. So, each of them be x.

8 cm^2=1/2 × x × x

16 cm^2 =x^2 or x =root 16 cm^2 or 4 cm

Now, h^2=b^2+p^2

h^2=4^2+4^2

h=root32 cm^2 or 4 root2 cm

Now, perimeter of isosceles triangle

=4 cm+4 cm+4 root2 cm

=8+4 root2 cm^2
