If the area of an isosceles right angled triangle is 16 cm^2, then find the length of its hypotenuse​

so,base and height will be same

let sideof triangle be x

area of triangle =16

 \frac{1}{2}  {x}^{2}  = 16 \\  {x}^{2}  = 16 \times 2 = 32 \\  {x } =  \sqrt{32}  = 4 \sqrt{2}

by Pythagoras theorem

 {h}^{2}  =  { (4\sqrt{2} )}^{2}  +  {(4 \sqrt{2} ) }^{2}  \\  {h}^{2}  = 32 + 32 = 64 \\ h =  \sqrt{64}  = 8
