If the area of an isosceles right triangle is 8 cm . What is the perimeter of the triangle?

Answer:

let the bae be x cm

then height is also x cm

area of triangle is ½ into base into height

½× x. x 8

x² = 16

x = 4cm

so base = height = 4cm

now .

hypotenuse = 4√ 2 cm

perimeter = 4 + 4+ 4√2

( 8 + 4√2 ) cm
