Let's see what values we have!

We have a right triangle whose area is 8 cm²

Well, in right isosceles ∆ base and height are equal. Let each of them be x

8 cm² = 1/2 × x × x

16 cm² = x² or x = √16 cm² or 4 cm

Now, h² = b² + p²

h² = 4² + 4²

h = √32 cm² or 4√2 cm

Now, perimeter of isosceles ∆

= 4 cm + 4 cm + 4√2 cm

= 8 + 4√2 cm

Here, in this questio there is small error that its will be 8 cm² not 8 cm.
