If the area of base of cylinder is 13.86 sq. m and height is 8 m , find the lateral surface of the cylinder​

Let A and V be the base area and volume of the solid right circular cylinder respectively.

Given that the base area A=πr2=13.86sq.cm and

volume, V=πr2h=69.3

Thus, πr2h=69.3

⇒13.86×h=69.3

∴h=13.8669.3=5cm

Now the base area =πr2=13.86

722×r2=13.86

r2=13.86×227=4.41⇒r=4.41=2.1cm

Now, Curved Surface area, CSA=2πrh

=2×722×2.1×5

Thus, CSA=66sq.cm.
