Given :-

  • Area of Circle = 154 cm²

To find :-

  • Perimeter of Circle = ?

Formula required :-

  • Formula for Area of circle
  •      Area of circle = π r²

  • Formula for perimeter of circle
  •     Perimeter of circle = 2 π r

[ Where r is the radius of circle ]

Calculation :-

As given,

  • →Area of circle = 154 cm²
  • → π r² = 154 cm²
  • → r² = 154 / π
  • → r² = 154 × 7 / 22
  • → r² = 49
  • → r = √49
  • → r = 7 cm

Therefore,

  • Radius of Circle is 7 cm.

so,

  • → Perimeter of circle = 2 π r
  • → Perimeter of circle = 2 × 22/7 × 7
  • → Perimeter of circle = 44 cm

Therefore,

• perimeter of the Circle would be 44 cms.

Answer:

Let the radius of circle be r cm.

Now the area of circle⇒πr² =154cm²

 \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  = 154 {cm}^{2}

 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{154 \times 7}{22}

 {r}^{2}  = 49

r = 7

Perimeter of the circle=Circumference

 = 2\pi \: r

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7 }  \times 7

 = 44cm

hope this helps you
