Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's see what values we have!

We have a right triangle whose area is 8 cm²

Well, in right isosceles ∆ base and height are equal. Let each of them be x

8 cm² = 1/2 × x × x

16 cm² = x² or x = √16 cm² or 4 cm

Now, h² = b² + p²

h² = 4² + 4²

h = √32 cm² or 4√2 cm

Now, perimeter of isosceles ∆

= 4 cm + 4 cm + 4√2 cm

= 8 + 4√2 cm

let ABCis issoceles right angle triangle

AB=perpendicular,BC=Base,AC=hypotenous

AB=BC(issoceles triangle)

AB=BC=a

area of ABC=8

1/2×AB×BC=8

1/2× a×a=8

a^2=16

a=4cm

in triangle ABC

AC^2=AB^2+BC^2

AC^2=4^2+4^2

AC^2=32

AC=4√2cm

Perimeter of ABC= AB+ BC+AC

=4+4+4√2

=8+4√2

=4(2+√2)cm
