Answer:

Area of the head is 15cm x 15cm = 225 cm² = 225 x 10⁻⁴ m².

Atmospheric pressure is (Average) = 1.01325 x 10⁵ N/m² or Pa.

We know that pressure is force per unit area i.e P = F/A⇒ F = P x A

Let weight(force) of the air above is W N .

Therefore W = 1.01325 x 10⁵ x 225 x 10⁻⁴

W = 2279.8125 N.

So you would be carrying 227.98125 Kg ≈ 228 Kg

P.S : Weight is not what we measure in Kg (mass). It is a force. But in our day to day life we call weight in kilogram, so what I wrote above is not wrong.

Answer:

2250 N

Explanation:

pressure of air on everyone's head is

10^5Pascal= 10^5N/m^2

so,

P=F/A

A=15*15cm^2=225cm^2=225*10^-4m^2

F=P*A

=10^5*225*10^-4=2250N

so, F is 2250N.
