Given:-

Base area of the wedge, A=2m^{2}

height of the wedge, h=1m

To Find:-

Volume of the wedge in m^{3}

Explanation:-

Volume of any solid can be found out by multiplying Area with the height in the same dimensions.

Therefore,

Volume, V=A\times h\\\\\Rightarrow V=2\times1=2m^{2}

Given :-

  • Area of base of the wedge = 2m².
  • Height = 1 m.

To Find :-

  • Volume = ?

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Area of Base = Length * Breadth .
  • Volume = Length * Breadth * Height .

so,

→ Volume of wedge = (Length * Breadth) * Height

→ Volume of wedge = Area of base of wedge * Height

→ Volume of wedge = 2 * 1

→ Volume of wedge = 2 m³ (Ans.)
