Answer:

3 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

area \: of \: circle = \pi {r}^{2}  \\ 9\pi =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  \\ 9 \times  \frac{22}{7}  =  \frac{22}{7} \times  {r}^{2}   \\  {r}^{2}  = 9 \:  {m}^{2}  \\ r =  \sqrt{9} \: m  \\ r = 3 \: m

Hence radius is 3 m.

Circumference= 2πr

= 2*(22/7)*3 m

= 6*(22/7) m

= 132/7 m

= 18.85 m

Given : Area of a circle is 9 π m²

To Find : circumference

Solution:

Area of circle = π ( Radius)²

Circumference of circle = 2π Radius

Area of circle  is given = 9 π m²

π ( Radius)² = 9 π m²

=> ( Radius)² = 9   m²

=> Radius = 3  m

Circumference of circle = 2π Radius

=> Circumference of circle = 2π * 3  m

=> Circumference of circle = 6π  m
