Capacitance of parallel plate capacitor is directly proportional to its overlapped area and inversely proportional to the distance between them. ... And if you will make distance between plates half then also capacitance will get double because it is inversely proportion.

Answer:

Explanation:

formula for capacitance is ∈A/d where A is area and d is dist b/w them

                           u gave that A'= 2A and d'=2d

putting the values u get the capacitance remains same
