Let side of square be a units.

Area a square (sq.units) = a^2

Perimeter of the square = 4a units

Let length of rectangle be l units which is equal to perimeter of the square= 4a units. (Given)

Area of rectangle = l x b = a^2(both areas are equal given)

4a x b = a^2

breath b = a^2/4a = a/4 units
