If the area of the triangle BGC is 28 square units and the centroid of the triangle is G. Then, find the
area of the triangle ABC is equal to.​

Area of the ΔABC = 84 units.

Explanation:

Centroid is the all 3 medians in a triangle are at the point of intersection or concurrence of these medians.

Since, triangle BCG is one among the 3 triangles of equal area and its area is 1/3 of the original triangle.

Because triangle had been divided into 3 triangles of equal area.

As we know,  Area of ΔABC = Area of ∆BCG × 3

                                          = 28×3

                                          = 84 units.
