if the area of trapeziun is 28 m square and two parallel sides are 8m and 60dm respectively find the altitude

Your Answer :-

Let the altitude be x .

then ,

Area of Trapezium = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides )* height .

( 60 decimetre = 6 m . )

28 m ^2 = 1/2 (8+6) * x

28 = 7 * x

x = 28/7

x = 4 m .

Hence , Height = 4 m .
