if the area of triangle with base x is equal to area of square with side x find the altitude of triangle

1/2 h ×x = x square.
h=2x.

ATQ, base of triangle = side of square = x 
       Area of triangle = 1/2 x base x altitude 
       Area of square = side x side 

So, The altitude of the triangle is x^2 so, that 1/2 x base x altitude = side x side



So, the required answer = x^2
