If the areas of two similar triangles162 and 200 find the ratioof perimeters

Two triangles are similar if the sides of one triangle are k times larger than the sides of other triangle.

So ratio of areas will be 1:k² (smaller:larger)

i.e 1/k²   = 162/200

⇒ k² = 200/162

⇒ k = √(200/162) ~ 1.111

So perimeter ratio is 1:k = 1:1.111 ~ 0.9
