Atomic mass is defined as the sum of the no.of protons and the no.of neutrons.

--}Atomic mass = No.of protons+No.of neutrons.

--}23u=No.of protons+12

--}23-12=p+

--}Therefore, the no.of protons is 11.

The element with 11 protons is Sodium.
