=> 8x+56=86

=>x=30/8

=>x=3.75

so x=3.75

x+2=5.75

x+4=7.75

x+6= 9.75

x+8=11.75

x+10=13.75

x+12=15.75

x+14=17.75

so greatest number in the series is 17.75
