If the average of 8 numbers is 24 and the average of the other 24 numbers is 8, what is the average of all the numbers?​

Therefore average is 21×8=168.

Let eight numbers be x1 ,x2 ,x3, …….. x8.

To take average we add all numbers an divide by the total numbers we have

So avg is

(x1 + x2+x3+………..x8)÷8=21

Now all numbers are multiplied by eight

So eight we will be taking as common

Therefore average is

8 (x1+ x2+ x3………..x8)÷8

Now we know (x1+ x2+ x3………x8)÷8= 21

So it becomes

8×21

Which is equal to 168.
